Jiangsu Suning crush Shanghai Greenland 5-1 in CSL

BEIJING, April 22 (Xinhua) -- 28-year-old mid-fielder Ji Xiang scored one goal and created another three to help home team Jiangsu Suning crush Shanghai Greenland Shenhua 5-1 in the 7th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.

U23 player Huang Zichang opened the scoring sheet for Jiangsu in the 7th minute through a corner taken by Ji Xiang, who later assisted Wu Xi to score the second goal for the home team in the 23rd minute.

Rong Hao pulled back one goal for Shanghai in the 29th minute with a header, but Ji Xiang's free kick in front of the box made it 3-1 for Jiangsu before half time.

Xie Pengfei and Li Ang scored two more goals for the home team in the 52nd and 64th minutes, making the final score 5-1.

In another 7th round match held on Sunday, Beijing Guoan tied 2-2 with visiting team Guangzhou Evergrande. Nemanja Gudelj scored the opening goal for Guangzhou in the 68th minute, and Yu Hanchao extended the lead to two goals five minutes later.

But in the 88th minute, Deng Hanwen of Guangzhou got his second yellow card and gave away a penalty kick opportunity, Renato Augusto put it into the net, and Cedric Bakambu equalized for the home team with a header before full time.

Dalian Yifang tied 1-1 with Tianjin Quanjian, and Shanghai SIPG drew 1-1 with Tianjin Teda. Enditem
