KIGALI, April 21 (Xinhua)-- Rwanda's junior wasps (Amavubi under 20) held Kenya's Rising Stars to a goalless draw in the return leg match of the African Youth Championships qualifiers played Saturday at Nyamirambo stadium in Rwandan capital Kigali.

The draw came two weeks after the two teams drew 1-1 in the first leg match at the Kenyatta Stadium in Nairobi.

The result of Saturday eliminated Kenyan side but put Rwanda ahead with a goal away from home.

Rwanda will thus play against the defending champions Zambia in May 2018 in search for a ticket to the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations finals tournament in Niger in 2019.

Talking to journalists after the match, Rwanda's junior wasps head coach Vincent Mashami said it was a tough match as the Kenyan side is "a strong team with many experienced players."

He said they will seek several friendly matches ahead of the game against Zambia. Enditem
