Henan Jianye fires head coach Dragan Talajic

ZHENGZHOU, China, Apr.21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye has sacked their Croatian head coach Dragan Talajic, the club announced on Saturday.

The 52-year-old Talajic took the reins of the Henan team last December, but only led his men to get one win after seven rounds of 2018 CSL. After a recent three-game losing run, the team decided to terminate the contract with the Croatian.

Talajic was a Croatian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He had served as managers in several teams in west Asia and Thailand before coming to China, including guided Al-Ittihad to the AFC Champions League winners in 2004. Enditem
