Morocco, Netherlands vow to enhance bilateral ties

RABAT, April 20 (Xinhua) -- The Moroccan Prime Minister Saad Eddine El Othmani and Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok on Friday pledged to boost bilateral ties.

During a meeting between the two officials in Rabat, they discussed various aspects of bilateral relations, commending the friendly links between the two countries, a statement from the prime minister's office pointed out.

The two sides underlined the need to further strengthen Moroccan-Dutch cooperation, especially in the economic sector, the statement said.

In this respect, they called for encouraging fruitful partnership between economic actors, benefiting from the important potential and investment opportunities offered by the two economies.

They also discussed the level of coordination between the two countries on several topics of common interest, notably migration, development in Africa and the strengthening of the Morocco-European Union partnership, the same source said.

The two officials also stressed the importance of promoting cultural exchange between the two countries, it noted. Enditem
