Spanish stocks close flat Friday

MADRID, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares closed flat on Friday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.16 percent or 16.20 points.

Supermarket chain DIA advanced 2.16 percent, the top gainer. It was followed by energy company Gas Natural and electricity company Endesa that rose 1.72 percent and 1.10 percent respectively.

Media company Mediaset lost 0.95 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Spanish bank Bankinter was down 0.92 percent and technology solutions provider Amadeus went down 0.90 percent. Enditem
