BEIJING, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Skating Association (CSA) president Li Yan confirmed on Friday that she would continue to act as the head coach of the Chinese short track speed skating team.

Having taken the helm of the Chinese national team since 2007, the 51-year-old Li led her short track skaters to seven gold medals in the last three Winter Olympics including Wu Dajing's triumph in the men's 500 meters at the PyeongChang Games this February.

"Time flies. I did not realize that I have been with the team for such a long time," said Li. "The next four years will be whole new challenge for me and I will just try my best."

CSA also announced a roster of 72 skaters that will participate in the training camp of the national team which was slated to start from May 10.

"We are starting our preparation for the Beijing Winter Games. Hopefully we can have good results four years later," Li added. Enditem
