Palestinian man killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers in eastern Gaza

GAZA, April 20 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian was killed on Friday afternoon during clashes with Israeli soldiers near the border between the eastern Gaza Strip and Israel, medics said.

The Palestinian man, identified as 25-year-old Nabil Abu Aqel, was critically injured in his head before noon east of Jabalia in northern Gaza, and later died of his wounds in hospital, sai Ashraf al-Qedra, spokesman of the health ministry in Gaza.

At least five other Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire, he added. Enditem
