Chicago agricultural futures higher in morning trade

CHICAGO, April 18 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities traded higher on Wednesday morning, with wheat futures rising again as diminishing prospects for rain in the Southern U.S. Plains underpins prices.
Corn and soybean futures were slightly higher.
May corn was 2.75 cents higher at 3.83 U.S. dollars per bushel as of 1345 GMT, May wheat was 7.25 cents higher at 4.735 dollars, May soybean was up 1.25 cents at 10.4725 dollars.
As for weather, winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are in effect in much of northern Iowa and southern Minnesota this morning as snow and strong winds are expected, according to the National Weather Service. Enditem
