Chinese shares open higher Tuesday

BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.07 percent, at 3,112.97 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.14 percent higher at 10,636.88 points. Enditem
