Dollar stays in lower 107 yen before U.S.-Japan summit

TOKYO, April 16 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in the lower 107 yen zone Monday in Tokyo ahead of a summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 107.20-22 yen compared with 107.28-38 yen in New York and 107.64-65 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday. It moved between 107.13 yen and 107.61 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.2356-2358 dollars and 132.46-50 yen against 1.2325-2335 dollars and 132.32-42 yen in New York and 1.2340-2341 dollars and 132.83-87 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Enditem
