Urgent: 5.9-magnitude quake hits 85km NW of Kota Ternate, Indonesia -- USGS

NEW YORK, April 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted 85km NW of Kota Ternate, Indonesia at 19:30:43 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 36.48 km, was initially determined to be at 1.3714 degrees north latitude and 126.8715 degrees east longitude. Enditem
