PYONGYANG -- The top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Kim Jong Un, pledged to jointly write a new chapter of the country's friendship with China during a meeting with a senior Chinese official in Pyongyang.
Kim, chairman of the Workers's Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, met with Song Tao, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee at the headquarters of the WPK Central Committee on Saturday.

BELGRADE -- More than 1,200 polling stations across Montenegro opened for eligible voters to cast ballots in a presidential election to choose a new head of state.
The state electoral commission said in a press release that 532,599 people are eligible to vote at the Montenegrin presidential election, and that the voting stations are open from 7:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. (0500 to 1800 GMT). (Montenegro-President-Election)

WASHINGTON -- The Pentagon said that the airstrikes against the Syrian government had hit every target, but admitted that "there's some left" for the alleged Syrian chemical weapons after the attack.
