LUSAKA, April 14 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Saturday

--The Zambian government intends to introduce fertility clinics in all the provinces as part of enhanced reproductive health services.

Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya said that the clinics will feed into the women and children's specialist hospital and will be constructed with the support of the Saudi Arabian government. (Zambia Daily Mail)

--Zambian President Edgar Lungu has urged farmers in the country to read government policies instead of depending on information being purveyed by government critics.

Lungu said when opened the 5th Agritech Expo in central Zambia's Chisamba district that various policies the government has come up with were enacted in favor of the public interest contrary to insinuations by some sections of society. (Times of Zambia)

--The World Bank and the Swedish government have given the Zambian government about 35 million U.S. dollars to accelerate electrification of rural areas.

The World Bank has released 26.5 million dollars while Sweden has provided 8.4 million dollars to the Rural Electrification Authority for the Electricity Service Access Project which was designed to scale up the output based aid subsidy approach for consumer connections in rural areas.
