-- Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Thursday went to Kabarak to meet former president Daniel arap Moi. The visit, coming after last month's truce between Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta has left many Kenyans guessing. (The Standard)

-- The chief executive of the electoral commission Ezra Chiloba was sent on compulsory leave as a result of a protracted battle involving five tenders for last year's general election. In suit filed in court, Chiloba who sued his chairman accused him for orchestrating his removal. (Daily Nation)
