LUSAKA, April 10 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Tuesday:

-- The Zambian government has pledged to strengthen partnerships between local and international media institutions to enhance the growth of the local media. (Zambia Daily Mail)

-- Over 270 local and international exhibitors as well as agri-equipment, service suppliers and large scale farmers have confirmed participation at this year's Agri-tech Expo Zambia.

The event, scheduled from April 12 to 14 in central Zambia's Chisamba district, was expected to attract over 22,000 visitors, according to organizers. (Times of Zambia)
