Dollar changes hands in upper 106 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, April 10 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 106 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 106.75-76 yen compared with 106.75-85 yen in New York and 107.09-10 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2322-2322 dollars and 131.53-54 yen against 1.2316-2326 dollars and 131.44-54 yen in New York and 1.2282-2283 dollars and 131.53-57 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
