French shares gain 0.10 pct on Monday

PARIS, April 9 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged up on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.10 percent, or 5.15 points, to close at 5,263.39 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 19 gained in the day.

French aviation giant Safran and French international digital company Atos both advanced 1.30 percent, the top gainers of the blue chips. Capgemini, global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation, and French hotel group Accor both rose 1.17 percent.

French automobile group Renault was down 2.43 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Technipfmc, global leader in oil and gas projects, technologies, systems and services lost 1.35 percent. Another French automobile giant Peugeot lost 1.13 percent. Enditem
