Indian markets close higher

MUMBAI, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Monday, with benchmark indices continuing to trade higher, driven by banks (barring ICICI Bank), oil and FMCG stocks.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,788.54, 161.57 point or 0.48 percent up compared to its previous close at 33,626.97. Enditem
