KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Two police were killed and two others injured as a Taliban sleeper agent who disguised himself as police at a checkpoint in Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province opened fire on those in duty early Monday, a local official said.

"A Taliban loyalist who disguised himself as police and served in a checkpoint in Dasht Archi district, opened fire on those in duty early today morning killing two policemen and injuring two others," district governor Nasirudin Nazari Saadi told Xinhua.
