Iran FM to visit Africa, Latin America for enhancement of ties

TEHRAN, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will visit Africa and Latin America to discuss the strengthening of relations, state TV reported on Sunday.
Zarif will head a political and economic delegation on the four-leg tour on Sunday, which will take him to Senegal, Namibia, Brazil and Uruguay.
Representatives of Iranian companies as well as entrepreneurs from commercial, economic, and science-based spheres of activity will accompany him in the tour.
During his visit to the African and Latin American countries, Zarif will be holding meetings with political, economic, and parliamentary officials from the four countries.
He will also be delivering addresses at joint economic and commercial gatherings as well as some think tanks.
Zarif once toured Africa last October, visiting South Africa, Uganda and Niger. Enditem
