2 cargo ships collide, no casualties reported

GUANGZHOU, April 7 (Xinhua) -- A cargo ship carrying cement sank after colliding with another cargo ship in south China's Zhujiang River on Saturday morning.

All crew have been rescued and no casualties were reported as of 2 p.m., according to Guangzhou maritime safety administration.

The incident happened at 8:18 a.m. when the ship carrying cement collided with a ship carrying water in a section of Zhujiang River in Guangzhou city, the capital of Guangdong Province.

The cause of the incident is under investigation. Enditem
