BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhua) -- A 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Papua New Guinea at 1:48 p.m. Saturday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 5.78 degrees south latitude and 142.57 degrees east longitude.

The quake struck at a depth of about 20 km. Enditem
