French shares drop 0.35 pct on Friday

PARIS, April 6 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.35 percent, or 18.43 points, to close at 5,258.24 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 25 lost in the day.

Technipfmc, global leader in oil and gas projects, technologies, systems and services was down 3.87 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. The global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures Legrand lost 1.43 percent. French hotel group Accor lost 1.36 percent.

Global leader in optimized resource management Veolia rose 0.89 percent. French international financial group AXA gained 0.55 percent. French automobile producer Peugeot was up 0.45 percent. Enditem
