Dollar stays in lower 107 yen amid trade concerns

TOKYO, April 6 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in the lower 107 yen zone Friday in Tokyo amid concerns over trade disputes.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 107.40-41 yen compared with 107.34-44 yen in New York and 107.05-07 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday. It moved between 106.99 yen and 107.46 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.2226-2228 dollars and 131.31-35 yen against 1.2235-2245 dollars and 131.38-48 yen in New York and 1.2258-2260 dollars and 131.22-26 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
