German shares gain 2.90 pct Thursday

FRANKFURT, April 5 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 347.29 points, or 2.90 percent, to close at 12,305.19 points.

All 30 German blue chips gained today. Multinational chemical firm Linde won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 5.22 percent. Industrial giant Thyssenkrupp and Deutsche Bank rose by 4.44 percent and 4.19 percent respectively.

Automotive manufacturer Daimler was the most-traded share with a turnover of 462.27 million euros (566.74 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
