French shares gain 2.62 pct on Thursday

PARIS, April 5 (Xinhua) -- French shares increased on Thursday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 2.62 percent, or 134.87 points, to close at 5,276.67 points.

All of the 40 selected large companies gained in the day.

Technipfmc, French giant in oil and gas projects, technologies, systems and services, advanced 5.86 percent, the top gainers of the blue chips. French aviation group Safran rose 4.59 percent, followed by French world leader in luxury sector Kering which gained 4.47 percent. Enditem
