Chicago agricultural futures higher in morning trade

CHICAGO, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities traded higher on Thursday morning, as the market reaction of the potential of U.S.-China trade dispute ebbed.

May corn was 4.25 cents higher at 3.8525 U.S. dollars per bushel as of 1530 GMT, May wheat was 8.5 cents higher at 4.6425 dollars, May soybean was up 2.75 cents at 10.18 dollars.

As for weather patterns, freezing weather has moved east into parts of several U.S. states this morning, potentially threatening soft red winter wheat in some areas, according to the National Weather Service. Enditem
