2 killed, 3 injured in landslide in central Myanmar

YANGON, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Two women have been killed and three others injured in a landslide at a stone cave in Myanmar's central Mandalay region, the Home Affairs Ministry said on Thursday.

The landslide occurred on Wednesday due to the collapse of soil and rock of the cave near Tipinte village in Kyaukpadaung township.

The injured were brought to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the incident was underway. Enditem
