1st LD: S. Korean fighter jet crashes in southeastern region: media

SEOUL, April 5 (Xinhua) -- A South Korean military fighter jet crashed in southeastern region Thursday afternoon, with no casualty identified yet, multiple local media reported citing the country's Air Force.

The F-15K fighter jet, which took off from a military air base in Daegu city, North Gyeongsang province at 1:30 p.m. local time (0430 GMT), crashed in Chilgok county in the province, some 290 km southeast of Seoul, at around 2:38 p.m.

The life and death of the two pilots aboard the crashed jet are yet to be confirmed. Enditem
