Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher on Thursday.

Benchmark indices bounced back sharply, tracking strong lead from global stocks and ahead of RBI monetary policy outcome.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 33,364.52, up 345.45 point or 1.11 percent compared to its previous close at 33,019.07. Enditem
