One child dead, 14 others hospitalized in Canada

OTTAWA, April 4 (Xinhua) -- A child was found dead and other 14 were sent to hospital from a home of the Stoney First Nation in Calgary, Canada, according to CBC Wednesday.

The 14 children in hospital range in age from two-and-a-half years to late teens.

Police and paramedics were called to the home Wednesday noon (local time) for what the latter described as a medical situation.

The cause of the death and hospitalizations was not immediately clear. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are investigating the tragedy. Enditem
