RIYADH, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Saudi forces once again intercepted a missile fired by Houthi militias towards border city Jazan on Wednesday, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The missile was shot at 9:30 PM local time (6:30 GMT) from Saada in Yemen towards Saudi Arabia, while the Saudi air forces destroyed it and its shrapnel fell on residential areas of the city. No injuries were reported until now.

The intensity of such attacks has increased recently with the completion of Saudi-led war against the militias in Yemen its third year.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Saudi-led coalition fighting Houthis, Col. Turki Al Maliki told a press conference on Wednesday that the coalition assisted the flow of humanitarian aids to Yemen that targeted more than two million Yemenis.

He highlighted that the militia fired 107 missiles, but the air forces have proven their competency in tackling such attacks. Enditem
