Spanish stocks drop 0.38 pct Wednesday

MADRID, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares fell on Wednesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 0.38 percent or 36,30 points.

A total of 22 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.

Steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal lost 3.60 percent, the top loser of the day. Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa was down 2.92 percent and media company Mediaset went down 1.46 percent.

Hotel chain Melia Hotels advanced 1.51 percent. Supermarket chain DIA was up 1.42 percent and Spain's energy company Repsol went up 1 percent. Enditem
