Ukraine launches e-visa for visitors from over 40 countries

KIEV, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine has launched an e-visa service for travelers from more than 40 countries, the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

The service is available to nationals of some Asian and Latin American countries as well as several Gulf states and Australia.

They can complete the whole process online, from filling the application form, making payment to printing out the e-visa. A 30-day business or tourist visa will cost about 65 U.S. dollars.

In 2016, Ukraine started to provide visa on arrival to Chinese travelers at capital Kiev's Boryspil International Airport and the Odessa airport.

Thanks to the policy, the number of Chinese arrivals jumped from 13,600 in 2015 to 31,100 in 2017, according to Kiev. Enditem
