Dollar falls to lower 106 yen zone

TOKYO, April 4 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell to the lower 106 yen zone Wednesday in Tokyo amid growing concerns on trade tensions.

At 5 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 106.20-22 yen compared with 106.55-65 yen in New York and 106.04-05 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday. It moved between 106.15 yen and 106.68 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.2294-2295 dollars and 130.57-61 yen against 1.2263-2273 dollars and 130.81-91 yen in New York and 1.2323-2325 dollars and 130.68-72 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Enditem
