SARI PUL, Afghanistan -- At least 10 militants were killed and eight others injured as cleanup operations entered the second day in Shiram area outside Sari Pul's provincial capital on Wednesday, an army spokesman of the northern region Mohammad Hanif Rezai said.

The government forces, according to the official, launched cleanup operations in Shiram area on Tuesday and also recaptured several villagers from the militant group. (Afghanistan-Militants)

NEW DELHI -- Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj Wednesday left for a three-day visit to Azerbaijan to attend a meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

Apart from attending the two-day mid-term ministerial meeting of NAM that starts in capital Baku Thursday, Swaraj will call on Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and hold bilateral talks with her Azerbaijan counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov, according to the External Affairs Ministry. MACAO -- Macao's broad money supply retreated in February, and resident deposits also dropped, the special administrative region's monetary watchdog said on Wednesday.
