NAIROBI, April 4 (Xinhua) -- The following are the news highlights in Kenyan media outlets on Wednesday.

-- The controversy surrounding the deportation of opposition activist Miguna Miguna is the basis of a new cold war between the Executive and Judiciary, with Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i saying there is a group of judges trapped in unholy alliance with civil society groups and activist lawyers intent on embarrassing the government.

He told a parliamentary committee that his ministry had asked the Attorney-General to appeal his conviction for contempt of court for failing to produce Miguna as ordered. (Daily Nation)
