CAPE TOWN, April 4 (Xinhua) -- The following are news items in South Africa's major news outlets on Wednesday:

-- Anti-apartheid icon Winnie Madikizela-Mandela will be given a category 1 special official funeral, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Tuesday.

This entails elements of military ceremonial honors and is declared for persons of extraordinary credentials specifically designated by the president in line with the Presidency's state, official and provincial official funeral policy. (News24)

-- Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene said on Tuesday that to increase tax morality, South Africans need to be reassured that their money is being used appropriately.
