Water Cube shines blue for 'Children of the Stars'

Miao Jie, a member of the Chinese pop duo Shui Mu Nian Hua, takes part in the 2018 "Light It Up Blue" event in Beijing, China on the evening of Monday, April 2, 2018, which marked the 11th World Autism Awareness Day. The event, held at the Water Cube, which is also known as the National Aquatics Center, called for more respect, understanding and acceptance of children with autism. It was the eighth time since 2011 that the iconic building staged this public interest event to bring more attention to the needs of autistic children. [Photo by Cui Can/China.org.cn]
