FRANKFURT, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Two tram trains collided Tuesday afternoon in the western German city of Duisburg, leaving at least 22 people injured, including two in serious condition, reported the media FOCUS.

Around 3.20 p.m.local time, a train on the tram line 903 rear-ended another near the stop "Auf dem Damm" in the district of Duisburg-Meiderich, according to the statement released by the the local public transport company DVG.

The cause of the accident remains yet unknown, the company said. Enditem
