JAKARTA, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia has sent 20 badminton players to compete in an international tournament in Japan this week, the association said.

The Indonesian badminton squad is scheduled to play in the 2018 Osaka International Challenge from April 4-8, the Indonesian badminton association said in a statement.

The association will send both senior and junior badminton players to the international badminton tournament.

They will play in five disciplines, including singles, doubles and mix-doubles, with some shuttlers to play in more than one.

The Indonesian badminton association did not elaborate further on their targets for the events.
