CAPE TOWN, April 3 (Xinhua) -- The following are news items in South African major news outlets on Tuesday.

-- Tributes pour in as life of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela is remembered.

Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, who first emerged as the dignified anti-apartheid struggle figure and then came to represent the liberation movement's worst excesses, has died at the age of 81 after a long illness. (News24)

-- Six miners have burnt to death in Limpopo Province after the bus they were travelling in was petrol bombed.

The attack happened at the Driekop village outside Burgersfort in the province on Monday night. (Eyewitness News)

-- Struggle icon Winnie Madikizela-Mandela will be buried on April 14 during an official funeral, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Monday night outside the struggle stalwart's home in Soweto, Johannesburg.
