YANGON, April 3 (Xinhua) -- A pilot was killed at a Myanmar military training jet F-7 crash in Taungoo, Bago region on Tuesday morning, according to a release from the Commander-in-Chief's Office of the Defense Service.

The training jet crashed due to technical glitch while conducting its training near Kyunkone village, at 4.82 kilometers west of its Air Force base at about 11:00 a.m. local time.

The pilot died due to serious injuries although he did emergency parachute jump.
