Chinese shares close lower at midday

BEIJING, April 3 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning trading on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.93 percent to 3,133.67 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 1.14 percent to end at 10,729.05 points. Enditem
