Urgent: 6.8-magnitude quake hits Bolivia, USGS says

BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale jolted 10 km NNE of Carandayti, Bolivia at 13:40:34 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 557.5 km, was initially determined to be at 20.6668 degrees south latitude and 63.0156 degrees west longitude. Enditem
