SHENYANG, April 2 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition featuring more than 400digital paintings by French artist Claude Monet is being held in northeast China's Shenyang City, capital of Liaoning Province.

The digital paintings, displayed using 3D shadow casting technology, include Monet's Water Lilies, Impression Sunrise and The Rouen Cathedral.

"It is wonderful, I feel like I am inside the paintings," said Ma Xiaowei, a visitor from Shenyang City.

The technology aims to give visitors a new experience with more interaction with the world-renowned paintings, said Piao Zhijuan, an exhibition staff member.

The exhibition is being held in Jiuwu Cultural City and will last until June 24. Enditem
