MUMBAI, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Monday.

Shares have begun the financial year on a positive note, Sensex is up around 100 points.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 33,065.40, 96.72 point or 0.29 percent up compared to its previous close at 32,968.68. Enditem
