THE HAGUE, April 1 (Xinhua) -- A late strike by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and a couple of saves by goalkeeper Andre Onana handed Ajax Amsterdam a 2-1 away win in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.

FC Groningen scored first through an early goal by Tom van Weert. The hosts failed to double their lead when Onana saved a penalty.

Thanks to Onana, Ajax stayed in the match and after Justin Kluivert headed in the equalizer and Ajax defender Joel Veltman received a red card, Huntelaar struck in the 89th minute to hand Ajax the win.

League leaders PSV beat NAC Breda 5-1 on Saturday, while AZ Alkmaar defeated ADO 3-0. Enditem
