KANDAHAR -- Three soldiers were injured as a roadside bomb struck an Afghan army vehicle in Kandahar city the capital of southern Kandahar province on Saturday, spokesman for provincial government Qudratuallah Khoshbakht said.

NEW DELHI -- At least nine people were killed in rain related incidents in India's eastern state of Bihar and southern state of Andhra Pradesh, officials said Saturday.
