LOS ANGELES, March 30 (Xinhua) -- U.S. private spaceflight company SpaceX launched on Friday morning 10 communications satellites into orbit for Iridium Communications on a used Falcon 9 rocket from California.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket blasted off from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Air Force Base at 07:13 a.m. PDT (1413 GMT), carrying 10 satellites for Iridium Communications, as part of the company's Iridium Next constellation.

About 2.37 minutes later, the first and second stages separated.
